I am a death doula, writer, herbalist, and ancestral ceremonialist whose work is rooted in the belief that dying is not simply a medical event, but a deeply human transition that deserves presence, dignity, attention, and care.

My approach to end-of-life care is grounded in listening, honoring each person’s autonomy and beliefs, and creating space for the emotional, spiritual, practical, and relational dimensions of dying. I believe there is no single “right” way to die, grieve, or say goodbye. My role is not to direct the experience, but to walk alongside individuals and families as they discover what matters most to them.

I offer a calm, compassionate, nonjudgmental presence through grief, caregiving, and the end of life. My work may include companionship and attentive listening, respite and support for caregivers, end-of-life vigil, guidance in creating rituals or ceremonies, and space for difficult conversations about death, loss, and what we want to leave behind.

Storykeeping is also an important part of my practice. Through conversation, audio recording, or written reflection, I help create space for family stories, memories, wisdom, and histories to be remembered and preserved for loved ones and future generations.

As a writer, I also facilitate generative grief writing workshops that invite participants to explore grief through reflection, memory, story, and creative writing. No writing experience is necessary; the focus is not on producing polished work, but on creating a supportive space to remember, write, and process what has been lost and what remains.

I approach this work with humility and reverence, while recognizing the importance of collaborating with hospice, medical providers, spiritual care providers, and other members of the care team. Ultimately, I hope to be someone who can sit comfortably in difficult places—someone who does not need to fix, rush, or look away, but can simply be present for what is here.
