I am a death doula, writer, herbalist, and ancestral ceremonialist whose work is rooted in the belief that dying is not simply a medical event, but a deeply human transition that deserves presence, dignity, attention, and care.

My approach to end-of-life care is grounded in listening, honoring each person’s autonomy and beliefs, and creating space for the emotional, spiritual, practical, and relational dimensions of dying.

I believe there is no single “right” way to die, grieve, or say goodbye. My role is not to direct the experience, but to walk alongside individuals and families as they discover what matters most to them.

Clients can expect a calm, compassionate, nonjudgmental presence. I offer companionship and attentive listening, support with legacy, guidance in creating rituals or ceremonies, and space for difficult conversations about death, loss, and what we want to leave behind. My background as a writer also informs my practice — I believe our stories matter, particularly at the threshold between life and death.

I approach this work with humility and reverence. I honor the wisdom of the person and family I am serving, while recognizing the importance of working collaboratively with hospice, medical providers, spiritual care providers, and other members of the care team.

Ultimately, I hope clients experience me as someone who can sit comfortably in the difficult places—someone who does not need to fix, rush, or look away, but can simply be present for what is here.
